3rd Place – Eka Zaridze

Eka Zaridze is actively working to promote the legacy of her grandfather, painter Lado Zaridze, who served as Vice-Rector of the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts during the tenure of Apolon Kutateladze. Although he created numerous works, his artistic contributions remain largely unknown to the wider public.

Ms. Zaridze has taken significant steps to raise awareness of the artist’s work, including locating his pieces, creating a dedicated website, preparing and printing a catalog. Several of the painter’s works are in need of restoration.
